This time I have a real treat. It goes by the name of a complete story. How novel is that?

This one’s a bit different. It’s a collaboration, too, but it was an in-person collaboration. Ray Bruwelhedie came to visit me for a couple days so we could check out comic companies and we thought it would be a excuse to write and draw a short comic together. We literally drew on top of each other’s pencils. It was kind of crazy, but really fun in the end. We were up until the wee hours in the morning for a couple days in the row saying how much A would kill B if B didn’t get to work right now goddammit, then the next night it’d be B telling A the same. It was really motivating, because when given the choice between comics and dying, who would choose dying?

When we were trying to come up with a story, I blurted out “retro-future high school romance comics” because I mainly wanted to draw a panel of a girl with a single tear rolling down her cheek.

Check it, yo. (Then hire Ray for an art job so he’ll do more art. What a slacker.)
