I know the lack of comments might not make this obvious, but many of your faithful readers come by – once a week, or couple of days or however long – hoping there might be a little more to enjoy.
We know it’ll come out when it comes out – and that’s fine! But I wanted to say something just in case the short comment section made it seems there wasn’t anyone here!
There are 8 more pages drawn after this one that are currently being colored. I think Renee’s trying to get a batch so we can do some normal updates for once!
thanks for that kind comment. this is a photo of my eye, a door i found on a church downtown, and some blank white space. i think i did it … ngh, 5 or 6 years ago maybe?
so i know what you mean about waiting … i’ve waited more than a year since my last real piece of photo-art. there was a time i was on fire with it for a few years there. but now i’m telling different stories to different people. and so it goes.
It’s almost been a year since I drew the next page, too. Since you’ve all been so patient, you can check out the lineart for the next page here if you’d like:
So I’ve returned to a story of photo made out of familiar things and bits of home, and a comic preview made out of pixels and patience. This is a good season.
YESS!!! Thanks a lot for updating!

Yaaaay an update!!
Poor Charlie… He has the worst luck :’)

I appreciate the encouragement! There’s currently an inked page in the pipeline waiting for colors, and more on the way soon, too.
Looking forward to your next release when you are able to get it up. Its a really interesting and unique tale and the art is wonderfully stylized.
Yep, we’re still here. I still marvel at the idea of drawing so much, so often. The wait is worth it.
Yeah, same here! I always drop by when I remember and see if there’s anything new. Then I end up re-reading the whole thing again.
also occasionally dropping by to find a new page eventually. Beautiful work!
Just checking in!

But no, seriously, good to see you’re gearing up for a return.
Ah, seeing quiet comics roll back into life is such a unique feeling. Definitely a favorite. Best of luck!

And you still have that fantastic profile image.
Waiting is easy. Writing, not so much. I’m content to continue waiting.

Thank you, Jon and Garth both!
Am I right in assuming this comic is dead in the water?
Nope.
