I really love the contrast in expression, emotion, outfits, and just general look of panel 3.
Diver is all pensive and huge-looking, and like he’s over-preparing for some sort of imminent disaster while Bravo is enthusiastic and wearing far more fashionable and flashy clothing [pun intended].
oh my gosh why is charlie so adorable when he’s excited c: also, thanks to a comment on the previous page about the NATO phonetic alphabet! things are starting to make as much sense as possible with a guy with a broken mind! :D
You should look into the NATO alphabet and the meanings of the maritime signal flags, you’ll find some pretty neat quirks that coincide interestingly with the comic. I don’t know the significance of most of the things I’ve found, but I am curious as to how some of these things will come into play.

I like where this story is going so far. It’s interesting. Query: What is the lines that seem to be coming at/point into the nose? It doesn’t seem normal to me.. I guess I don’t get the artistic styling here with the lines on the faces…
Diver mostly. Generally on charlie it looks like the cheekbones, just not always. But they don’t seem to be in the right place on the diver in this panel.
Mostly just curious what the artistic reasoning is.

I suspect Hotel is a figment, and charlie is actually sleeping in a godforsaken ruin, bathing in water that neither exists, nor is hot.
