Oh you and your cliffhangers, Jon. ;) “One last thing thing” indeed! One thing’s for sure, Victor’s got the best style. Who would have thought to pair a scarf with cowboy boots?
Given that the Charlie flag means “Yes.” I would say that’s a fair assumption, especially seeing as Victor is almost certainly his vulnerability as that flag indicates a need for assistance. Assertiveness and vulnerability don’t generally mix well.
Empathy > help needed > are those scars on Victor’s left arm?
Cutting is often used by someone with certain mental illnesses as a means of expressing stress, helplessness, and low self-worth.
That would tie in with Diver’s dreams of missing meds, and the holes/gaps in his self-perception. It’s rarely the healthy psyche that fragments into separate aspects – at least, not without a serious, catastrophic event to trigger it.
Hopefully, Victor’s name will also be the outcome of Diver’s eventual, complete reintegration of himself!
(It’s so good to see you back! I’d followed the story when it was originally posted, & was very disappointed when the hiatus dragged on. I’m seeing more detail now in the re-reading, and marveling at all the “hidden in plain sight” details you’ve included. Well done!)

I have started reading that page in a loop, and now I can’t stop.
Oh, one last thing!
What if Charlie is his arrogance or his pride?

What if Charlie absorbed other aspects?
Oh man, is this page charged! I can’t get over Victor’s sparkly Xs or Diver’s quiet smile. 8D
Glad you like, Sulucamas!
