The crumbs, shadows, marks, are slightly different in the background of the three compass panels. They are the same view, but manually re-drawn each time, with imperfections, instead of being copied-pasted.
Just poining that out, because it makes Alpha Flag great. Cpopy-pasting in comics (from Penny Arcade to the Walking Dead) infuriates me. It’s lazy, and it really shows, it really looks artificial, not as if things didn’t move but as if time didn’t pass. Nothing looks that static, that immobile, ever. It looks fake, dead. It’s always unforgivable to me.
So, just this word, to say thank you. These details are not unnoticed. They should be the obvious regular way, and they aren’t anymore. It matters. It makes a change. It says something. Please keep having this approach. That’s probably silly but these three panels were a little relief, to me.
He’s got the super powers patch.
Company? :o
Great coloring, from Diver’s under-lit face to the glass on the windows!
Did i found an easter egg here?
Scary. But i love this kind of thing. Very powerful and true power of the medium of webcomics, here.
Thank you.
On this page: Charlie in the third panel is so flimsy. Seventh panel could be so hard but you done that under-lit really well. Impressed as always.
What did you find? :D
