Hm. So the compass and the book (and sword?)seem to come back out of Diver after he’s reincorporated them, and then they perform their functions (navigation/narration/defense). The bird seems to just be inside him though, and has given him back his hunger (assuming he ate those pancakes).
Maybe only object type aspects come back out and perform a function, while aspects that are “alive” like the bird (and presumably Charlie and our Mystery Scarf Man) just become part of Diver again?
Envious as always of the breathing room in your panels.
Thanks, E.

Anyways, this comic continues to be fascinating.
“Use the Force, Diver.”
Keeping Echo inside is way better than having it come out and eat those delicious pancakes for him. :P
I find your lack of pancakes disturbing.
Disturbing indeed. I must seek to remedy this glaring paucity at once!
How embarrassing! That went way over my head. :P
Dat hand.
Love the cinematic panels and the restrained compositions. I’d have probably ruined that window with a bunch of rendering.
I have a feeling I’m going to start over-rendering by the end of the scene. It’s hard to sustain.
