Oh my god, Panel 2 is terrifying. Also god, could the neck wringing be more gruesome. You always manage to make me physically repulsed when it’s necessary.
i just teared a little.
From now onward i’ll live in the fear of the end when they will deal the same problem with Charlie itself. Thank you.
Plus great work as always guys.
Also in my mind I imagine the film version of this scene would have seagull cries going on in the background while they discuss killing the bird and then a sudden, terrible silence after the SNAP
Okay click to see if there where more to this and went on a loop thinking they snap the birds neck multiple times. like wow that bird has a strong neck or Charlie been taking the knots in the birds next relieving of the years of pressure. “Welp I’m sorry bird can’t die. Looks like you have to tame your hunger then and make it eat pancakes.”
Charlie killed Hunger. He completely Snickered the scene.
Was hunger given an established name like India? It’s a shame they couldn’t communicate with the bird and keep it for their eyes in the sky, especially with Kilo flapping about.
If Diver has to kill Charlie I am going to cry.
It’s a relief not having a monopoly on animal murder anymore.
This is the point where they make a cyborg seagull!
Because non-robotic birds just weren’t evil enough.
@Erin dead horses. Dead horses EVERYWHERE! :P
uuugh this page is full of wonderful charlie faces ♥
I agree ♥
Shit just got dark all of a sudden. :|
Literally, did the sun just set or something?
Renee’s been making the sun set for the last couple of pages. Check ’em out. She only told me it was happening this page. She’s wily.
Wily indeed! It’s great symbolism, though. xD
I only asked because I’d thought that that was a dawning realization at the end of the last page. :P
maybe everyone is getting this sinking feeling?
laaaaayerrrssss.

Oh wow, Charlie is hard core. That was brutal.

Oh man, that sounds excellent. If I didn’t loathe sound effects (using one here was a struggle) I totally would’ve liked to do something like that.
Charlie looks so sad in that last panel, seeing his own future a little? D:

I’m going to rewrite it so this is true.
Wait wasn’t the Aunt Jamima syrup bottle red maybe it’s a piece of his mind.

They’re not always going to say them, but it’s Echo.
