I don’t want to spam, sorry, but i can’t really restrain me to mark how this page improved up with colours, since i was loving with plain colours i’m truly mesmerized by the final risult.
Sixth panel was wonderful even in flat, for those many efforts in the little feathers who made full detailed detail panel, now maybe i can’t distinguish the inked traces well, but i noticed that Renee made somes tiny darker lines to emulate feather structure. I’m confused, I don’t know, maybe i liked that panel more before than now as it is, BUT aside that, congratulation to both for this high-quality work, I realized now that I never congratulated as it should be since when i started to read.
plus: the light spot on charlie’s jacket and the lights on the fourth panel = TRUE LOVE
Sorry Jhon how i end everytime making congratulations to Renee’s work, but you draw and ink good, SO GOOD, what else could i say to you?
(you definitely tamed bird and net, cheers)
I’d pull that hand back if you’re fond of /all/ of your fingers …
Exactly what i thought!
dudes are playing with fire. angry menacing bird fire.
Oh my goodness so many amazing bird drawings. Every panel is great, the struggling motions and his little feet thrashing are wonderful
Thanks Kent. That bird has been a pain to draw!
Yeah, as a wildlife person I’ve got to agree: the struggling seagull-ness is very well done. There’s no angry quite like trapped-wild-bird angry.
“Oh, maybe we can’t both be touching it? I’ll just let go then…” D:
Funny that it was so calm until it (seemingly) got the message.
Doesn’t look like Diver want to touch the bird in panel 4 XD
I wouldn’t. It’s already tried to eat him.
Full color °_° > What a wonder! *A*
Yeah, Renee really rocked this one. I love the feathers.

Haha, don’t worry about commenting a lot. Renee and I love getting and reading comments. They keep us going.
And yeah, I totally agree. Her colors really elevate Alpha Flag’s art. I’m constantly surprised by how well she does it.
