It goes by the name of <em>a complete story<\/em>. How novel is that?<\/p>\n<p>This one&#8217;s a bit different. It&#8217;s a collaboration, too, but it was an in-person collaboration. <a href=\"http:\/\/ray-b.net\/\">Ray Bruwelhedie<\/a> came to visit me for a couple days so we could check out comic companies and we thought it would be a excuse to write and draw a short comic together. We literally drew on top of each other&#8217;s pencils. It was kind of crazy, but really fun in the end. We were up until the wee hours in the morning for a couple days in the row saying how much A would kill B if B didn&#8217;t get to work <em>right now goddammit<\/em>, then the next night it&#8217;d be B telling A the same. It was really motivating, because when given the choice between comics and dying, who would choose dying?<\/p>\n<p>When we were trying to come up with a story, I blurted out &#8220;retro-future high school romance comics&#8221; because I mainly wanted to draw a panel of a girl with a single tear rolling down her cheek.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.joncairns.net\/images\/comics\/THSR.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/joncairns.net\/AlphaFlag\/Blogimages\/THSRPROMO.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Check it, yo.
